Motlow-McMinnville recently held the groundbreaking ceremony for its Automation and Robotics Training Center Expansion. This new facility will seat students in the upcoming Electric Vehicle Technology (EVT) program that begins in the fall of 2024.
By the fall of 2024, Motlow-McMinnville will have an additional building to house its first cohort of students for the new Electric Vehicle Program. The groundbreaking ceremony will take place soon, and Motlow is happy to host a group of leaders who are working to advance Middle Tennessee's cyber and electric vehicle interests.
Motlow State Community College is one of six institutions selected for a $4,000,000 grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The grant goes toward the Resource Collaborative for Immersive Technologies (RECITE), a collaborative between academic institutions and NSF grantees.

Motlow's Smyrna campus recently became the College's third site to receive an ambulance simulator for the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program. A crew worked for three days straight to build the simulator, giving instructors a new resource to expand the simulations and trainings available to students.

Motlow State Community College recently held a commencement ceremony for the 2023 class of Paramedics. Students from the Smyrna and Sparta locations walked the stage to receive plaques commemorating their achievement. This is the first group of Paramedic graduates from the Sparta site.
