Honors
The Honors Program provides an interdisciplinary education of exceptional quality to high academic achievers.
The Honors Program will challenge you academically, support you through your academic journey, and strengthen your transfer application. If you’re a highly motivated student at Motlow and plan on transferring to a four-year institution, consider the Honors Program to put you on the path to success.
Career In a Year
Start your career in a year or less. Earn a EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, or Early Childhood Education certificate.
Did you know that not all careers require a four-year or even two-year degree? You can get a certificate in a year. Motlow’s Career in a Year features programs that can train you in a year or less.
Even in high-demand, high-wage fields you can fast-track your way to career success. Motlow credentials can prepare you for the workforce. They can also be an additional certification as you pursue an associate degree.
Dual Enrollment
Motlow State has more high school Dual Enrollment students than any college in Tennessee. We specialize in making sure you get a great early college experience.
Get an early start to college credits with Motlow’s dual-enrollment program. Most students qualify for four free classes - two their high school junior year and two more their senior year. Some high school agreements offer fewer free classes, but more low-cost classes. Take classes at your high school or at any Motlow campus.

If you are a veteran & military applying to Motlow for the first time, you will follow the same process as first-time freshman students. The Office of Veterans Affairs is honored to be able to serve students who are serving or have served in the United States Armed Forces and their dependents.
