Instructors Present Music at Motlow Series

March 6, 2025

Throughout the month of March, all four Motlow State campuses will get to enjoy special performances from two of Motlow’s music instructors. This Music at Motlow series will feature John Harris and Lisa Maurer and promises to be a fun opportunity students can enjoy between classes.

Performances will take place at the following dates and times:

  • Smyrna campus: March 20 at 12:30 p.m., Hiatt-Spivey multi-purpose room
  • McMinnville campus: March 24 at 11 a.m., main lobby
  • Fayetteville campus: March 25 at 2 p.m., campus library
  • Moore County campus: March 26 at 11 a.m., Powers Auditorium

These performances are free to all students, faculty, and staff. Funds for the Moore County performance are made possible by a grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission, a state program that makes the arts more accessible throughout all 95 counties in Tennessee. If you would like to support this program and see more performances like this one in your community, you can purchase a TN Arts Specialty License Plate at tnspecialtyplates.org.

Other upcoming productions from Motlow State’s Humanities Department are the theatrical production of “Oedipus” and the annual student choir production. Visit Motlow.edu/events to view the schedule of student events, and stay tuned for further details about future performances.
