Industry Certified Robotics Trainers for Yaskawa Motoman

Yaskawa Motoman provides automation products and solutions for virtually every industry and robotic application. Motlow is one of only two MERIT-certified training centers in TN and offers training courses and certifications for both the DX200 and YRC1000 controllers. Robotics training programs take one week or less to complete and are scheduled based on demand. For more information about costs and schedules, contact robotics@mscc.edu or call 931-393-1720. Students can also enroll through Motoman’s corporate website.

Training is provided by Motlow's Workforce Development Department and is not for academic credit at Motlow. It is not eligible for Federal financial aid.

Coordinated by Motlow's Department of Workforce Development, this short-term training program allows learners to earn an industry-recognized credential that can jumpstart a new career or lead to advancement in the workplace.

Short-term training programs provide students with high-wage, high-demand credentials. Students learn from industry experts in hands-on robotics labs.

Short-term training programs are not eligible for Federal Financial Aid (Pell). They are not part of degree pathways. However, upon achieving a short-term training certification, students may apply for consideration for Credit for Prior Learning toward a Motlow degree.

Financial assistance for short-term training may be available to some students through the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA). For WIOA eligibility information, contact fa@mscc.edu.
