Responsible Executive: Executive Vice President for Business and Finance
I. PURPOSE
The Safety Committee is organized to:
- Promote a safe environment for Motlow State Community College students, faculty, and staff;
- Serve as a liaison to bring safety issues to the President; and
- Monitor compliance with federal and state rules, regulations, and policies.
II. MEMBERS AND MEETINGS
The committee is composed of the following members:
- Executive Vice President for Business and Finance (Chair, Ex-officio, voting);
- Director of Public Safety;
- Director of Facilities Services;
- Lab Safety Coordinator; and
- Director of Disability and Counseling Services.
The committee will meet at least annually.
