I. PURPOSE
The purpose of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) Leadership Team for Motlow State Community College (Motlow State) is the following:
- Monitor SACSCOC,
- Monitor SACSCOC cycles and processes,
- Coordinate and assign compliance certification and fifth-year interim report writing;
- Facilitate Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) planning, coordination, and implementation; and
- Keep the college continuously on target for SACSCOC reports and significant dates.
II. MEMBERSHIP
Membership will include:
- SACSCOC Liaison (Convener);
- Assistant Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness & Academic Technology;
- Assistant Director of Institutional Effectiveness (or appointed designee);
- One member of the faculty (2-year term and appointed by the SACSCOC Liaison in coordination with the Chief Academic Officer [CAO]);
- One representative from the Student Success administrative staff (2-year term and appointed by the SACSCOC Liaison in coordination with the Chief Student Success Officer).
- CAO; and
- One representative from the Office of the President (as deemed needed by the President).
