To fuel the next generation of learners in the state of Tennessee, Motlow State's Automation and Robotics Training Center (ARTC) in McMinnville is expanding its facilities. This new wing will house an expanded Mechatronics program and the upcoming Electric Vehicle Engineering Technology (EVET) program. Community leaders and the staff of Motlow State will assemble on November 12 to cut the ribbon and celebrate the College's work to be part of building a sustainable future.

At the beginning of the fall 2024 semester, Motlow State recognized the Faculty Excellence Award nominees and announced the winners. Jenna Caviezel, Associate Professor of English at Smyrna and the Director of the Tutoring Center and Honors Program, received the Faculty Excellence Award for full-time faculty. Lisa Maurer, Music adjunct at the Moore County campus, received the Adjunct Faculty Excellence Award.
The regular season for the Motlow State women's soccer team has come to a close, and the team is starting their series of post-season games for a chance to play in the district championship. The first post-season game is October 22 on the Moore County campus at 3:00.
